Join Grace Millsap and special guest teachers to explore the expansive and rich practices of Yoga through the lens of modern neuroscience, Ayurveda, ancient philosophy, and social justice. All are welcome, whether a newly in-love-with-yoga student, if you have been practicing for years, or are already a yoga teacher (there’s even a special discount for you!) No matter if you have desire to teach, or are only here to geek out and absorb the information on a personal level, there is something for you in this training. Our goal is to spark passion for the vastness and resplendence of knowledge in the study of Yoga. You can expect a balance of practice, theory and techniques to give you the skills to create, or take, any yoga class to meet you where you are and give you exactly what you need.

"Grace is a truly special soul. As a teacher, she goes way deeper than the physical poses of yoga. She utilizes anatomy, psychology, and energy to create intuitive movements that you didn’t even know you needed. Grace’s teacher training provided me with so many tools not only to become an amazing yoga teacher, but also to find a more profound understanding of my own practice. She also takes time to honor the histories and cultures of yoga, and addresses the responsibilities of being a teacher. Regardless of whether you’re interested in teaching vinyasa, deep stretch, meditation, or nothing at all, you’ll leave grace’s training with many new ways to contribute to the world.."

- Former YTT Student

Hi, I’m Grace! From a young age, I could often be found sitting in a tree with a notebook, writing down observations of life happening around me. I spent 5 years in the fast-paced, and high-pressure, scientist world where I researched for UNC-CH in the intersecting fields of nutrition, genetics, and neuroscience. I completed my first teacher training in 2013, and immediately began to draw connections between the science of her daily life and the ancient teachings of Ayurveda, structure versus function, and fell even more in love with the topics of Yoga.

The topic of Yoga is huge! I'm honored to be a vessel for the teachings. And even more so, to bring some of my favorite people to share their areas of expertise. This school is dedicated to connecting you with your magic, using the time-honored practices of yoga.
